SHE-EDE: Ecovillage Design Education with matriarchal values
Held in powerful, Earth-connected locations like Portugal, Italy, and Colombia, this certified Gaia Education program combines permaculture, matriarchal studies, bioconstruction, and healing practices. Structured around the four dimensions of sustainability — ecological, social, cultural, and economic — SHE-EDE offers women the tools, community, and inspiration to design a regenerative life.
The Work That Reconnects
Inspired by the teachings of Joanna Macy, this course awakens our ecological consciousness and empowers us to act from a place of compassion and interconnection. Through guided practices, deep sharing, and experiential exercises, we move through the spiral of gratitude, grief, vision, and action.

“It was amazing to witness how, during the course, many participants were empowered and began to understand the effects of patriarchy on society, after the course creator, Sabina Santovetti, an expert on matriarchal societies, had told us about the history and present of both matriarchal and patriarchal societies. One participant shared how her eyes had been opened in a completely new way and that she would now actively intervene in everyday discrimination more than before. For me, one of the greatest gifts of the course was that I now feel a whole new respect and love for women and womanhood. It’s something that doesn’t take away from other genders but helps to see the greatness of womanhood in all its forms.”
